Description
The MicroImage PG315 pattern generator is designed for simple size and geometry reference applications. The PG315 will overlay one of five standard patterns including a centered cross line, a centered cross hair, a centered target style symbol, a dot grid (cross dot) array, a hatch grid (crosshatch) array.
The unit has switches to select the pattern or turn off the pattern overlay, power on/off and a rotary control to change the brightness of the pattern.
Units are available to function with a variety of video signals. All units work with composite, B&W and S-Video signals. The PG315N works with the NTSC/RS170 sync system, while the PG315P operates with PAL/CCIR. Each unit supports both standards and can be changed via an internal DIP switch if needed. By selecting the N or P version, it will be factory preset for the appropriate video system.
Power is provided by a universal power module (included with cased units) or the unit can be powered from +12VDC (negative ground). DC power consumption is about 3 watts. The unit is packaged in a durable metal enclosure with plastic bezel assemblies.
The PG series of Pattern Generators are also available as board level products. These can be provided with the standard
connectors listed above or small single row “header” connectors. MicroImage Video Systems can also provide custom units to meet unique requirements. Please contact MicroImage Engineering for additional information.
The PG315 has a one year parts and labor limited warranty.
