Description
The MicroImage MIR540 is a high performance display processor capable of mirroring the video input on the X and Y axes. Each of the four selectable inputs may be individually mirrored horizontally, vertically or both. Mirroring on both axes is the same as rotating the image 180 degrees. A color bar test function is also available.
The input signals are standard composite video. Genlocked signals are NOT required. The source can be anything from studio cameras to camcorders and even the output of a VCR. The system will lock to many signals, even those of less than perfect quality. Each of the four input signals has a dedicated memory area for frame synchronization.
The MIR540 uses state-of-the-art, high performance digital signal processing (DSP) to maintain the highest quality video signals. This assures a consistent image will always be displayed. The MIR540 will always produce both composite and S-Video output signals simultaneously.
The MIR540 family of products work with a variety of video sources and cameras. The MIR540 will work with almost any video cameras (or other video sources) that have a composite output signal and meet the NTSC or PAL standard. All inputs must be of the same standard (NTSC or PAL).
The included RS232 control capability allows the MIR540 to be controlled by a computer or other device or from a remote location. Please see the protocol definition manual for additional information.
A Rack mounting kit is available as an option. RoHS products are available for those countries that require units with RoHS compliance. RoHS units are lead-free.
The MIR540 is available completely packaged (cased) or as a board level product for OEM applications. Power is provided by a universal desktop power supply (included with cased products) or it can be operated from +5VDC (negative ground). Board level products do not include the power supply and a 5VDC regulated power source must be provided.? The unit is packaged in a durable metal enclosure with plastic end bezels.?Board Level, OEM and Custom products are also available. Please contact MicroImage Engineering for additional information.
The MIR540 has a one year parts and labor limited warranty.
